How the 30 days work
One calm, guided session a day. Each day unlocks when you reach its accuracy target, never a speed target. Miss it? Try again with fresh text. There is no failing, only “not yet”.

Meet the fingers
Each finger is a character with its own colour and its own keys. The picture shows which hand and which finger, and the keyboard and the lessons use the same colours, so you always know who presses what.

Is Typingo really free?
Yes. Every lesson, test and practice mode is free, and you never need an account. Your progress is saved in your browser.
Can I really reach 40 WPM in 30 days?
Most people who practise about fifteen minutes a day get there or close to it. If you need longer, bonus days keep going until you graduate. There is no deadline and no failing.
Why does it focus on accuracy instead of speed?
Speed built on mistakes stalls quickly. Accurate, relaxed typing gets faster on its own, which is why every day is unlocked by accuracy, not by speed.
I got slower after switching to touch typing. Is that normal?
Completely normal. Most people dip for two to four weeks while the new habit replaces the old one. Keep going; the dip is the method working.
Can I use it on my phone?
You can read everything on a phone, but the lessons need a physical keyboard. A laptop, desktop or tablet with a keyboard all work.
Will it help me pass a data entry or government typing test?
